Hello Vincent and welcome to SounDarts.gr. What have you been up to these days? You must be really busy lately with all the Eurovision preparations right?

Yes, I am really busy at the moment with all the preparations and it’s not always easy to be a full-time performer/musician and a family dad at the same time 😉

Your song “Alive” is the one that was selected to represent Austria in Eurovision 2020. What’s the story behind it?

I feel honored to be able to represent my country. This time, there was an internal selection where different artists could send in their songs, and I am very happy that they chose me this year.

In addition to your performance, in what other ways did you get involved in creating the song?

I was one of the songwriters, composers and producers, that’s why I was involved in the whole production of the song.

Could you tell us what should we expect from your live performance on the Eurovision stage in May?

A lot of good vibes and an awesome performance.

Have you heard Stefania’s “SUPERG!RL” which will represent our country to Eurovision? What are your thoughts about it?

Yes, I listened to it. Amazing that she is only 17 years old and already representing her country. I am sure a lot of young people will like her song. I love it!

Which songs from other countries do you like so far?

I really like Spain, Iceland and Lithuania.

Which one of these three songs stands out for you the most and why?

I really enjoy listening to Lithuania, because it’s very entertaining.

If you had the chance to collaborate with one of your favorite artists, who would you choose and why?

There are so many artists I would like to collaborate with but Bruno Mars would be definitely one of them.

What is Vincent Bueno’s biggest dream in their musical career?

To keep on doing what I love and have fans behind me who support me.

Do you believe that the new way of promoting new music over the internet is actually helping the artists or is it a trap?

I think nowadays there are so many tools to publish your music over the internet and everyone who is talented can be heard. I know there are always advantages and disadvantages, but I think the modern days have so many possibilities.

What are your next professional steps after the Eurovision Song Contest 2020?

I will keep on releasing my music and hopefully reach more International fans.

What’s your motto in life and what’s your message to the Greek audience?

Work hard on your craft, but don’t forget to live in the moment and love your family and friends. Because you never know, when they won’t be anymore on your side.
