Ο μπασίστας των Limp Bizkit, Sam Rivers, πέθανε σε ηλικία 48 ετών. Ο θάνατός του ανακοινώθηκε από το συγκρότημα μέσω Instagram το Σάββατο 18 Οκτωβρίου, χωρίς να αποκαλυφθεί η αιτία.

Ο Rivers συνίδρυσε τους Limp Bizkit μαζί με τον τραγουδιστή Fred Durst και τον ντράμερ John Otto το 1994, παραμένοντας μέλος του συγκροτήματος μέχρι τον θάνατό του. Συμμετείχε και στα έξι studio albums του θρυλικού nu-metal συγκροτήματος, εκ των οποίων τα τέσσερα έχουν γίνει πλατινένια ή πολυπλατινένια.
